Homemade Bread Crumbs

Here is an easy way to make your own bread crumbs. 

You can use any kind of bread.  Lay out your bread on a cookie sheet to dry.  My mom cuts the crust off and dries both parts separately. 

Once the bread is dry and hard (crouton-like), it’s time to make it into crumbs.  Place all the bread into a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to crush them.  I used my Quick Chef (see my favorites list) to make them super fine.

Wahla!  Bread crumbs.  Store in an air tight container or ziploc until you are ready to use.
